I'm waiting for the "newsletter" that says since Mexico has fewer cases than the US, eat foods with garlic, cumin, and chilis among other things

Definitely lime. I like cilantro but Trish has that gene where cilantro tastes like soap. So I usually use flat leaf parsley. -- nm

There's garlic in everything as one of several basic flavours, but I don't think of Mexican food as garlicky.
