I won't indict the movement as a whole...

but is it that far of a stretch to come to the conclusion that it is acceptable to take one life in order to save many?

Is that not one of the main justifications for war?

And isn't the struggle often portrayed as spiritual warfare?

I think under those assumptions, yes, murder can be a logical conclusion drawn from the rhetoric of certain groups within the movement, even if they eschew violence on the surface.
