I'm of mixed feelings on this one. It seems that Disney is going to extend the validity so there's nothing lost

It is a payment plan, not a pay for each month plan. You could've been charged the hundreds of dollars upfront until relatively recently. Like buying a car or a house and while I get that loaners are allowing people to request alternate payment plans, it's not like they're doing that across the board.
And I'm apparently heartless in this time of need but hell even I have a hard time trying to afford/justify a Disney AP these days so it strikes me that you had disposable income.....
