I already knew that the proper name for Vienna was "Wiener". If you say it with a German accent, you see how it could be "Vienna". But the fact that Austria's actual name is "Österreich"? The literal translation is "East Reich" or... like "East Kingdom", maybe? Sure, if you say it fast, it kinda sounds like "Austria", but that has no meaning. The original name has an actual literal meaning.
P.S. China is "Zhōnghuá" in its native language? I'm embarrassed I didn't know this.
