The article says they are dropping from 139 a day to 15. Even the 139 a day number was after significant earlier cuts and the normal number of flights is much higher
United flights out of NYC currently (daily flight count):
Newark: 15 flights to 9 destinations
LGA: 2 flights to 1 destination
