I think we'll just start a BOP series on this, but the gist is those 270-degree theaters and 4Dx ones. -- (edited)

Combine that with augmented reality advances over the next few years. Movie theaters could individualize the movie-going experience to entice audiences to visit.
They could also throw in more leg room as they cede lower-paying customers, the ones who don't buy concessions. Then, they add meals and other amenities to people who want the real dinner and a show vibe.
The reality is that some people won't ever forget this and aren't go back to movie theaters for years if ever. So, adaption is an imperative now.
