Broncos offered him a nice extension, last year--Way more than the Ravens gave him. He pretty much bad mouthed the team on the way out

Pretty sure the Broncos would've resigned him, this offseason, had he not done that.
He bet on himself, and lost.
But they weren't going to give him the kind of cash he wanted--so he ultimately signed for about 1/3rd of what he wanted and went to the Ravens--I think the Broncos offered him $5M year for a couple years, last offeseason.
He was chirping some, during the season, last year too.
I feel for him.
Hard going from a top D on a SB team, to what the Broncos turned into.
Offense continually were bad and let the D down, almost every game. He gave the Broncos a nice discount the last contract he signed, to stay on that D, so I think that slowly ate at him too. He mentioned that a lot.
