There are some left-side people who won't vote for Biden. There are also some middle of the road people who will vote for Biden that would not have voted for Bernie.
Left-side people would have happily voted for Bernie. Some middle of the road people would not although they would vote for Biden.
Which number nets bigger? Unknown.
It's not as simple as that of course. Enthusiasm does matter to a point, and Biden is not all that enthusing. Anti-Trump is enthusing though. Does that make up for the Bernie enthusiasm that is lost by nominating Biden? Unclear.
