I like that Ibanez. I get pretty into the gear as well, but I wouldn't even venture to make a pedal.

If I had the time I'd love to learn, but I have basically no technical skills. I think it's very cool you made your own though. I haven't done much with pedals. I know I could just get lost in playing with them and overwhelm myself with it. I've mostly leaned towards getting something like a multi-effects. I've got a Richie Kotzen Fly Rig that is sort of a light multi-effects pedal (but analog rather than digital). But I browse the different pedals all the time.
