Very little notice of this morning's earthquake near Bodie. Mention of it in the L.A. Times but I haven't seen anything on TV news.

It was felt in Fresno and Sacramento and across the Nevada border but I guess there's very little population in the immediate area. The initial quake was 5.2 with continuing aftershocks, at least three of which were 4+

True, unless it hits downtown L.A. or San Francisco. Although it generally rates a passing mention on the early news. -- nm
