I was sent into a restaurant kitchen with 8 people in a space about 40-50 sqft to change out some anti slip mats in the kitchen. 6 or 7 of the people didn't speak English (I only say this because in a predominant English speaking country I wonder how informed they are about the current pandemic and rules to follow. Since they aren't even 6 inches away from each other as they work)So I am walking around them (1 foot or less away)scooping up these greasy mats) I am the only one with a mask on (does nothing for me from what I read, only helps others around me)
By the way that is what job our drivers do. I only did it because they were closed down and re-opened on a day too far away from their normal service day.
Now, I should have just left. I realize that now. I am having a hard time not putting my head down and just doing my job. It's what I am used to doing.
Essential Services have a varied loose definition depending on state, and business owners interpretation.
Frustrating!
