Loosi, i'm not sure why you're so stuck on the "hearing" issue.

If, after she finally heard me, she hadn't been so rude, or had said something like "sorry, I didn't hear you" I wouldn't have made the crack at her. I would have smiled and been on my way. I wasn't rude to her when I cleared my throat, or said excuse me, or when I said excuse me ma'am. I wasn't yelling or shouting, but was definitely talking in a voice loud enough for someone standing two feet in front of me to hear. She chose to be oblivious to those around her, take up the entire aisle, and then be rude when someone wanted to get by her. End of story.
