I followed. while she was unloading her stuff another woman came up and asked if it would be ok to get ahead of her since she only had one item (the woman in line was buying more stuff there than anyone I had ever seen).

since I was bored I said "I'm in line too, don't I get a say?"

the woman with one item stopped, looked back and said "oh, would it be ok if I jumped in front?"

I said " of course, I just wanted to be included"

we all chuckled, but I know if I wouldn't have said something I would have been upset about something that really didn't matter for too long.
