"Seniors who are claimed as dependents are not eligible to receive stimulus checks. However, all people who receive social security benefits will automatically be sent a $1,200 stimulus payment. "

The family who claims the senior as a dependent will not get the bonus $500 though.

which is why I said yes i think so.
