I skimmed it earlier. The point they suggest is that by having the schools open, more healthcare workers will be able to assist patients

because they won't have to stay home and care for their children, and with more healthcare workers available, lives will be saved on the on the other end. Their calculations come out in favor of schools open.
I make no judgment to the accuracy of their findings, but that was their point.
