ignorance or stupidity.
it specifically translates to me being a happier, more at-peace person, and i'm not flinging poison or insults at people who could very well be going through shit and don't need to feel any worse about it.
as far as someone's stress causing speeding or mowing down a child or however your to-the-extreme example went, i'm just glad we have this new invention called police and laws to help curtail illegal behavior, which is of course illegal and possibly dangerous no matter what the offender is going through, and for good reason.
honey vs. vinegar. i try for more honey than vinegar -- making a difference through kindness or understanding instead of trying to "teach someone a lesson" via insults. i'm not claiming perfection, far from it, but i've learned over time one of those works better for me and those around me. your mileage clearly varies.
