I've probably told this story before, but I never watched the series until I played the board game.

The game was so compelling and the characters so interesting that I felt I had to watch the show to know more about it all. I was not disappointed.
BTW, my character during the game was Chief Tyrol, and at one point I was both President and Admiral. We mere humans won that game, but not by much.
