i finally saw "star trek" today, and it was very enjoyable. sat a little too close, though; and, wow, it was loud. "up" is next!

i've been watching "mental" and every ep. has had off/odd things stand out to me, aside from plot-stuff and structure..

not really spoilery, but just in case - comments on this week's ep. ahead:

this week's notables were totally underusing david carradine (who i now picture differently, eep) and that the main character stands and sits way too close to others, but no one seems to care.

at first i thought the odditiess might be intentional, but now i don't think so. weird. but i'm still watching for the time being - just interesting enough for this part of the year. ;) -
