Vince has always been a confirmation bias guy.

He could literally make anyone the face of the company. When he picks wrong like with Cena or Reigns, he doubles and triples down.

So, any positive PPV number or rating confirms that they're the top guys. Anything that works against that, he dismisses for reasons passing understanding.

I think he might actually have convinced himself that the ratings decline is due to the pandemic. That's not a joke.
