Well, I liked the Bioshock series a lot, and this is probably my 2nd favorite series. I mean, it has Buttstallion!

It's funny and sarcastic, and the campaigns are fun solo.
I do like games/campaigns where there's a story and a "go here and do this" type of line, but then this has some side-stories that you randomly can pick up.
I hate overly complex things (and this does have a "skill" tree for your character, but I don't really pay much attention to it).
I haven't played the 1st game in years but I remember it being really fun. Two had a great story (and Tiny Tina, and Buttstallion).
(Buttstallion is a unicorn that farts out guns when you feed it a gem. It's ridiculously hilarious.)
