on this topic, I was watching a clip of an interview with Anderson Cooper and Dr. Fauci, where the good Dr. kept referring to the guidelines put out

which called for very deliberate steps, such as the first step for opening up things would be only happen after you had 14 straight days of declines in new cases (I think it was).

considering the response here has been "you can open up, but you have to post a policy for anyone to read on how to keep customers safe" the fact is that most states arent paying attention to those guidelines because of $$$ (tax revenue and unemployment costs) or ideological views.
