I had that happen to me before, in a conference call.

I guess I just put my end on mute and ignored the call for a few minutes.
The client was a known beast. Next in-person meeting, my boss had to go, as well as the commercial boss.
I do miss those days' paychecks, they allowed me to say fuck it and go live my life in the last 11 years, but jeez, I don't miss the environment and most people.
