right before surgery, we bought a new sofa/recliner. our previous furniture we had since before we were married (probably 17-18 years), so we definitely got our money worth from it. but it was super hard to get in and out of. after surgery, it would have been impossible.

we basically had to buy the new pieces in one stop on one day. so the pieces we bought don't exactly fit our living room, and the style isn't what we would normally have bought.

we finally got around to trying to move it around a bit today, and it mostlysorta works. but I've spent 90% of my waking hours in it since getting home from the hospital, so the new placements are totally messing with my equilibrium
