I always win at the expert level so I play at pro but there are so many races where I can't get closer than 6th place despite running a clean and fast race. Shit, I'll run a dirty but fast race and still not finish in the top 3.
I've won a few and finished in the top 3 many times on pro but there were tracks that no matter how well I raced there was just no way to catch the top guys in two or three laps of the track.

    - Manual does cut down shifting time. You should try it. I can rank around top 1000 worldwide with manual but would be top 500 if I used manual+clutch. - Max May 3, 09:07 1
