That’s pretty watershed. I was wondering how he’d replace his DVR experience but he lays it all out.

And now I’ve learned about Channels DVR and TV Everywhere. Apparently Channels DVR will pick up live content from all the TV Everywhere channels (for instance, the Watch ESPN app on your Roku shows real time ESPN if you’re a cable subscriber) and record it, and even apply a commercial skip algorithm to it. The reason I dumped YouTube TV was the DVR and live TV experience (in short, it was all garbage). But Channels DVR seems like a much superior interface.
