Like I'm really dumb at these things. Can I just take out the sim card from one phone and put it in the other? What does that get me? It just ports the carrier/phone #, right? It's not anything off the phone like contacts, photos, etc.

Normally I would just go to the store and have them do it when I buy the new phone, but everything is curbside right now. I wonder if I can drop off the old phone and wait while they do all of the stuff to the new phone.
