At some point, you have to be who you are and things like this allow for the pushing back of that recognition.

You and I fundamentally disagree on whether this surgery helps someone be who they are. I see it as nothing more than a short term delay that leads to later regret. You see it as the first step in correcting lifelong issues of gender confusion. There just isn't a bridge here that meets.
