I remember we used to go to Emporium Capwell and play the demo consoles and talk to each other about the characteristics of each machine. A process we would do over and over again.
My version of the story is that it was mid February by the time we finally purchased a NES. Hey, that was some serious cash for us and we weren't going to piles buy 8-P
