DC's stay at home order technically ends this Friday, as it has not yet been extended. It seems very obvious that Mayor Bowser is going to extend the shutdown, she's just been extremely non-communicative about it.

So businesses (mostly hair salons, spas, etc.) have been sending out e-mails to book appointments starting Saturday. People are registering and they are are going to be pissed when the Mayor extends. For both extensions so far she has announced with 2 weeks to spare.

This is a mess.
