It's pretty easy to get a "# of tests/day in my state" and use that to get an "infection rate," but even then, that depends on who gets to be tested.

How much ass they have to haul to get to the testing site (like, do they need their own vehicle)? Are there testing sites in places where people lack access to healthcare? Is my state doing more than what the CDC guidelines say they should? Is my state serious about this thing, or are they doing the bare minimum so they keep the numbers low and don't get in trouble with anyone (red states maybe)?
Without this sort of analysis, the published COVID numbers can be misleading to say the least. Bamboozled. Run amok. Led astray....
