Definitely a different set of specs required to get to Lunar distances> Though SpaceX will use a Falcon 9 to put a lander on the Moon next year

The Falcon Heavy and Starship will definitely be able to support Moon missions. With Starship landing on the Moon and lifting off to return to Earth.
