Yeah, the messaging was not 100% clear in that flatten the curve did not mean eliminate the curve or all infections

This seems to be lost on both sides of this silly debate
The people arguing that reopening cannot happen ever again until there is a vaccine tested 25 years because people will die are missing the point of flattening the curve-which is to save health resources so that FEWER people die
And the people arguing to reopen as if nothing at all is happening are also missing the point which is that flatten the curve doesn't mean disappear the curve and also that it does not work if you don't take active steps to keep the curve flat
