I'm 1000% on board. Our mom was not good in English, she was totally open to great rock music. She was kind of an innocent.

She heard music with no prejudice, and damn, she got it right every time. She LOVED Neil Young, Sinead O'Connor, Irish Dement, Bonnie Raitt. Had no idea what their names were.
