These suits are not meant for spacewalks. The EVA suits have beefed up insulation, HVAC systems, and reflective visors.

The EVA suits are the ones that are in short supply and not all are in usable condition.

Flight suits like the suits worn today are closer to fighter jet pilot pressure suits.
