My guess is Universal. II started and there was not just one but two unexpected Universal company sequences

After the first one started with a Bad Robot sequence which created the reaction of huh, whaaat, they must have the rights for this remastered version or something, I thought I was ready for anything for II.
Turns out I was wrong. Big bright current version of the Universal sequence immediately followed by a more era appropriate Universal sequence
III starts and no surprising production company / distributors of any note
