And your post didn't help. No, it's not "Kansas Senate". The "Kansas Senate" is a government body in the state of Kansas. This post is about Kansas's US Senate seat. The article is about endorsements and does not rely on the pyramid structure of journalism which focuses on the most important elements at the top like - as your post would suggest - "the endorsement of a more conservative candidate by an anti-abortion group means that the GOP's ability to hold on to this seat may be imperiled if the more moderate candidate does not win the primary."
