There's no team or devices in line of sight. Well not in immediate line of sight. I guess they could be significantly far away and up on a hill

Though it has made me wonder, is there a non-line of sight surveying method these days. Is that thing some type of beacon and it just marks a position that can be read by some non line of sight method?
