Since the murder of a black man here 2 years ago, residents have asked for and been promised a real citizen review board for the police. City has done nothing. Yesterday the Mayor said he'd see whether it works for the city.
How is this not just standard? That's step 1 and it should have happened 2 years ago if not much much longer.
