I think my only disappointment is the choice of filtering some of Cardinale's closeups. I guess that's how the opposing male characters see her? Seemed to really contrast with being able to see every last pore and seemingly every pore within a pore on Bronson and Fonda's faces.
I'm pretty sure that her face will hold up to the same scrutiny.
The contrast in the sound between this and Rio Bravo is remarkable having seen them on consecutive nights. A decade or so passed but the use of the score that stops and starts coupled with a super heightened ambient sound compared to the relatively 'natural' sound of Rio Bravo is night and day.
