I don't get why there needs to be a contradiction. We can both recognize that the protests are dangerous for COVID but needed dangers

Just like going to the supermarket may be dangerous but also necessary.
The problem is we have devolved into easy, intellectually lazy approach to everything now--it's either 100% on our side or 0%. There is no nuance.
And many of us said from the beginning that the SHUT EVERYTHING DOWN approach was fine from a science perspective but troubling and classist from the other. Of course, the limousine liberals that support that approach would benefit and were more afraid of the virus.
Why can't we just admit it? I don't get it.
