I had no idea this existed and even more amazed that it is over a decade old.
I knew some of the stories but the caricatures of the principles alone make this worth seeing IMO for fans of Disney Animation for that decade.
It also made me realize that I'm kind of the perfect age for Disney animated features. The films leading up to the renaissance aren't the films being made to just keep animation going, they're 'my' Disney films. Fox and the Hound, Black Caldron, The Rescuers and Rescuers Down Under. Those are the films that my parents took me to see.
I guess though at the same time, I don't have as fond memories of The Great Mouse Detective (but I remember the clock sequence being amazing) and Oliver and Company as I was getting 'older'
That set me up to be in a perfect place to be what I thought I was a hip college kid and then young adult to go and be the not kid at Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and Lion King
