The weird thing is that it doesn't work all the time or against every boss.

I guess Kali has a ridiculous health bar. It drops her way down, but doesn't kill her. It is actually bad against Shuro Chi and you'll wipe if you just use it. It will kill Morgeth. It can kill (well, last stand) Riven, but you need either a buff or a debuff. Maybe both. It looks like tether works best, which goes against the norm, as people use bubble instead of tether.
I would test using tether and well. Then melting point and well. Then bubble and well. I would also test with multiple people shooting floor near riven's foot then riven's mouth.
Looks like it melts the final boss of Garden, don't know about the others.
