I listened to a Black woman on a podcast talk about how frustrated she is with this mentality.

She basically said, "I have held my nose and gone to the polls to vote for the 'better' candidate almost every single time I've done so in my lifetime with the exception of Obama, choosing the candidate least likely to be damaging to me and my family and friends."
