I relatively liked that. Huge emphasis on relative. Wrong Turn 3 spoilers -- (edited)

I swear that there's a kill all but straight up stolen from Resident Evil in the set up of this one. Actually it might be more impressive as it is supposedly wire as opposed to lasers.
Fake Antonio Banderas (wannabe Antonio?) is at least the second most charismatic male lead or sort of male lead I've seen through three of these. Either him or Henry Rollins. Not counting the cannibals
I think the criticism of this one by fans of the series could stem from two aspects (well at least two)
1) Other than the open, it could've not been a Wrong Turn movie up until 2/3? 3/4? when we get to the cabin and that's definitely Wrong Turn. With a few edits, it could've been some other attempted escape gone wrong movie
2) Killed the dog
I'm starting to get that the series seems to have tropes beyond the standard horror / slasher ones. well, maybe it adds just one. There's a last couple as opposed to last girl through 3 of these.
Wrong Turn 3 kind of tweaks that but by the last shot (well, the last shot before inevitable coda or credit sequence) there's a last couple.
I'm kind of hoping that it is two guys to be the last ones standing in one of the next three to take their spin on the last girl yet another step.
I'm interested to see what the set up for 4 is cause there were helicopters and a bunch of patrol cars in Greenbrier county for this one. Aren't people going to know to not go in that area and specifically not on that road? Though I guess at the same time, there was never a mass exodus and property value crash for Cabot Cove and I'm positive way more people died there.
Oh and I guess there's always the chance to address my earlier criticism and somebody will take.......
a wrong turn
