Honestly, I don't see what it could be used for other than in pursuit but even then their normal cars are faster than nearly every car on the road.

I know they have a lot of police chases in LA but that's just a ridiculous waste of money. I'm guessing they could have bought like 6-10 regular police cars for the price of that one.
