I just got this travel advisory

"Pilots, cabin crew and ground staff employed by national carrier Japan Airlines (JAL) are planning to hold a series of strikes between 17 and 19 June. The JAL Pilots Union will hold a 72-hour strike from 17 June; the JAL Labour and Japan Union will stage a six-hour walkout between 18:00 and 23:59 (local time) on 17 June; and the JAL Flight Crew Union will stage a 24-hour strike on 17 June. The JAL management is currently in talks with the unions to avert the planned industrial action."

Seem to me that if the pilots are on strike for 72 hours, it doesn't much matter what any other unions does....
