I always hated it when it would get into the 70s (and even 80s) during Nov and Dec in KY and TN.

That always meant tornado weather. All this warm air on the ground and a cold front would come sliding over it and BAM! The year before I moved to Seattle, there were 4 tornados on Christmas eve in Franklin, TN--they hit about 11pm with little warning, it was horrible. A couple of years ago the town I moved from, Gallatin, was just about leveled from a series of tornados, they're still rebuilding it. I think I'd be sad to see it now, it was a 200+ year old town with beautiful historic buildings, homes and churches.
