I made your chili this weekend and, uh, failed miserably. :)
I'm wondering if I used the wrong measurements. You had mentioned in teh recipe I was following to use "2 large cans tomato sauce". What are you considering to be a 'large can'? A 14-oz can is large when compared to a 6-oz can, but small when next to the 28 oz can. :)
(I used 2 28-oz cans of tomato sauce, fwiw, and all the meat and onions sunk to the bottom. Didn't get thick at all with the cornstarch.) *sigh*
