The new one with the 60 gig HD is about $100 bucks less than the Elite. This is what be bought for our second one.

The other difference is that the Elite and the controller is black and the new one is white with a white controller. Also, our 60 mb xbox has the new chipset and heatsink so there is far less of a chance for overheating and rrod.
