"have located" something that "had long been hidden" is an indication they still have a lot of work to do indexing their collection.

The last time I was there researching war pensions and land records did not give me a lot of confidence that they even know every set of collections they have. And since they've essentially turned over analyzing the collections to Ancestry.com it means they have very little interest (or resources) in doing any work to confirm what they have.
